Company Establishment

If you are setting up a business, or looking at changing the structure of your existing business, we can sit down with you and help advice you which structure best fits your needs. This could be as a Sole Trader, a Partnership, Company or a Trust Structure. If you decide on either a company or trust structure, then we can help you complete all relevant forms you will be required to order your company or trust. Company constitutions and Trust Deeds are legal documents, so need to make sure the information is correct. As we are not lawyers, we do need to outsource the actual preparation of these documents, but we can help organise this on your behalf and liaise with the relevant people on your behalf. When the paperwork arrives in, we can then organise your ABN registration, TFN Application, GST, PAYG & Fuel Tax Credits registration, if required.

 

SMSF

Self Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF’s) are required by law to lodge annual Tax Returns and prepare Financial Statements.  As the trustee of a SMSF, you are responsible for ensuring that an annual audit is performed for financial and compliance requirements.

We can advise and help you with these needs, compiling your financial statements, preparing the Income Tax and regulatory Returns, and arranging the annual audit on your fund.

 

Personal Tax Returns

Most of us need to lodge a personal tax return each year, and it’s so important to review just where you are at insofar as tax planning is concerned in order to  maximise your deductions and hopefully increase your refund (or minimise your tax payable!)

Late Returns

We do understand that because of certain personal circumstances, you may have not yet prepared your tax return for a past year or years. This can be individual, business or SMSF returns. Please do not be embarrassed, things happen. Please contact one of our experienced accountants to go through what needs to be done to bring everything up to date. We can help with recommending a bookkeeper if that is required. We can also contact the Australian Taxation Office on your behalf, and explain what has happened and what is being done to help bring everything up to date.
