We offer a big menu with inspirations from around the world so that each couple can choose the menu that best suits them and their guests. Where our vines are full of personality, rows of trees shelter 20 acres of harvesting area in a region with 50 wineries and 110 vineyards. The first planting was done by two brothers in 1968. They turned it into a dwelling. They placed their family insignia on a farmhouse wall... and Fergusson, their namesake, was given the land.
The vineyard saw its first commercial vintage, a communal restaurant, and the birth of their children, who would later become the land's custodians, together with their mother. About us
Mr Thomas Hogg, well-known for his jam production, founded Wandin Park Estate in the Yarra Valley. Thanks to the Anker family's influence, this property has become a one-of-a-kind establishment.
In 1861, William Anker left the little Swiss town of Ins in the canton of Bern in search of a better life in Australia. The Yarra Valley is known for its magnificent rolling hills and lush agricultural soil, reminiscent of Gruyere's Swiss town. The Anker family started a winery in 1869, then moved into agriculture and then equestrian after WWII. Wandin Park Estate, owned by John and Angela Anker, has seen various transformations.
