D-Spa – South Yarra

At d-spa, we combine modern dentistry with the comforts of a spa and an overall focus on preventive dental care.

The first d-spa clinic opened its doors in South Yarra in June 2001. Since that time, we’ve opened two more successful clinics on Collins Street in Melbourne CBD. Our founder and principal dentist, Dr Joseph Badr, leads a dynamic team of over 50 dental professionals who are committed to helping patients have a positive experience and achieve healthy outcomes.

Our South Yarra dental clinic was the first d-spa location to open its doors in Melbourne. We first opened in 2001.

We’ve designed our clinic to be a serene and calming environment in the midst of busy Chapel Street, South Yarra. Our friendly staff will give you and your family a warm welcome, while our soothing decor and essential aromatherapy oils aim to help you relax throughout your appointment.

Our clinic is just walking distance from South Yarra. We’re also easily accessible by tram and have convenient on-street parking.

Dr Daniel Ang, Dentist

Dr Daniel Ang is an Associate Dentist with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry and a Masters of Dentistry from La Trobe University. He works across all areas at our practice and wants to make sure that his patients maintain excellent oral health so they are able to continue to eat well. The appreciation and thanks he receives from his patients after helping them with their oral health are his favourite things about being a dentist.

He firmly believes that prevention is better (and cheaper) than a cure so make sure to brush and floss every day! When he isn’t helping out his patients, Daniel loves to travel, eat out at restaurants and go to the beach.

Jennifer Aston, Dental Hygienist

Jennifer received her Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Newcastle in 2012. She then went on to complete further education to support her growing love for all things dental, including an In-office Whitening for Dental Practitioners Certificate and Certificates III and IV in Dental Assisting.

Joining our d-spa hygienist team in May 2014, Jennifer has made a positive impact on enhancing our patients’ knowledge of oral health. She’s excited to meet new people and to form relationships with patients that can last for many years, helping to make a real difference to their oral health.

When Jennifer isn’t busy crusading against cavities, she loves to explore different wine regions and visiting her family in Sydney.

Rebecca Clementi

Rebecca received her Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Melbourne in 2014. She specialises in helping patients of all ages maintain excellent oral hygiene but is especially interested in kids’ dentistry.

She is focused on making sure that nobody is scared to visit the dentist so that everyone can maintain a healthy smile. When she isn’t working she is spending her time at the beach, catching up with family and friends and enjoying all the great food Melbourne has to offer.
